The Insurance Training College (ITC) is set to host the 6th ITC International Insurance Conference from 21–23 October 2026 in Gulu, bringing together insurance professionals, industry leaders, regulators, policymakers, academics and other stakeholders for three days of learning, dialogue and networking.
The conference will provide a platform for stakeholders across the insurance ecosystem to share knowledge, examine emerging industry trends, exchange practical experiences and explore opportunities for collaboration as the sector responds to an increasingly complex risk environment.
With the theme “From Risk to Readiness,” the conference will focus on strengthening the capacity of the insurance industry to anticipate, understand and respond to emerging risks while building a more resilient and future-ready sector.
The event will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, technical sessions and networking opportunities, providing participants with insights from industry experts and thought leaders from Uganda and beyond.
The conference comes at a time when the insurance industry continues to navigate rapidly evolving risks, technological advancements, changing customer expectations and broader economic and social developments. The discussions will therefore seek to connect industry knowledge with practical approaches that can strengthen insurance practice and contribute to sustainable sector growth.
The 6th ITC International Insurance Conference is expected to attract a diverse audience from across the insurance value chain, including insurers, reinsurers, brokers, regulators, risk professionals, intermediaries, financial institutions, academics and other professionals with an interest in the sector.
